Road To Suchness

La Casa Luna Hotel San Miguel de Allende

La Casa Luna Hotel

We loved staying at La Casa Luna Boutique Hotel in San Miguel de Allende. https://casaluna.mx/  Our room was spacious, the hotel is in the heart of the city, and good restaurants are an easy walk away.

Our room at La Casa Luna Hotel was located very privately on the second level.  We had a little balcony where we could sit at night right outside our bedroom.  I loved our room with the fireplace, and a vaulted ceiling.

In the mornings at La Casa Luna we would start our days in the patio for breakfast,  included in our stay.  I always feel nostalgic when eating breakfast.  I remember when I lived in Central America and each morning included the freshest of tropical fruit.  Breakfast at La Casa Luna Hotel was no exception.  Below are two photographs of the patio courtyard where we ate.

La Casa Luna  is on a smaller scale than some of the grand hotels there and I wanted that. Another thing to consider is that many of the hotels are in the city.  Although we felt secluded and slept well in our room with no complaints, noise level in Mexico and noise level in the U.S.A. or elsewhere  can be two different things.  The important thing is would we go back to La Casa Luna Hotel?  In a hear beat, yes.
